It goes by a number of names - 'hydraulic fracturing', 'shale gas extraction', 'hydrofracturing' or 'hydrofracking. Not to forget the name beloved of headline writers around the world - 'fracking'. But what exactly is fracking, and why has it become such an environmental hot potato? Is it helping to save the world, or condemning it to climate chaos - or is it just perhaps a scam, stoking up a fossil-fuel financial bubble?

Hydraulic fracturing is the name given to a way of squeezing gas and oil out of tight rock reservoirs, places where these hydrocarbons just won't flow out naturally. So far, most of the oil and natural gas man has extracted, comes out of the ground on its own accord - so called conventional plays.

It gets pooled in deeply-buried reservoirs - sponge-like rocks where it has been trapped, unable to move any further. Down there it is also under a lot pressure. Simply drill a well into these conventional reservoir rocks, and that pressure drives out the fossil fuels, into the well and so up to surface - such wells are understandably called 'gushers'.

But there are plenty of rocks that are hold onto their gas (and occasionally oil) in tiny fractures, rather than larger pores. These 'unconventional' reservoirs are usually mudstones, buried and compressed into a hard rock that geologists call shale. Drill a well into them, and nothing happens - the shale gas is locked up too tightly. ...

     Benghazi criticisms all too true, but should be called the Benghazi Flaming Hypocrite Report, since the nonpartisan NumbersUSA gave Collins and Lieberman, respectively, a "D" on Reduce illegal Immigration at the Borders, and a "D-" on Reduce Illegal Immigration Rewards. By definition, when someone is in a nation illegally, they have had no background check, as far as terrorism, robbery, rape, pedophilia, murder or anything else.

     Fine review, but someone with this much alleged talent would have had many other opportunities to make profitable slaughter films devoted to other themes. Sometimes when people crazily scream from a mountaintop that they hate white people, believe they are inherently evil and should be murdered, the most difficult thing is to simply believe them. At least one silver lining is that as the carefully crafted mask of the pious Tolerance Police continues to slip, now with the outright murder of whites being celebrated, more whites will awaken.

In general, avoid deserted areas, particularly at night, leave your valuables at home, and park in well-lighted areas. Finally, keep in mind that statistics only tell a small part of the story; talk to locals for a fuller picture. ...

     You've got to love how this Sally Sunshine article comically tries to downplay the horrendous facts. Apparently there are some segments of our population who have, as of yet, not received their memos notifying them of the "sunnier" news that their violent crime rates should be going "down."

     Liberals lie through lies. Neocons lie through half-truths. In past decades political scientists had always referred to California as politically "bifurcated," meaning that it had a higher percentage of liberals AND conservatives than most other states--hence their electing Nixon and Reagan. 

     So what was the biggest change? Millions of liberal voters pouring into the state? Of course not. Because of geography, California became the roadkill in front of the third-world on-ramp into the U.S., after hostile federal ruling elites, on the Left and the Right, but mostly on the Left, decided that massive legal immigration, plus massive legal 'chain migration,' plus massive illegal in-migration were scintillatingly wonderful things. 

     So it is not just California liberals who have been approving all these taxing and spending increases. It is California liberals PLUS the continually invading and procreating third-world colonists, who enthusiastically approve more and bigger government social programs and elect more amnesty-friendly governors, legislators and mayors. 

     Much of the cause for Californians leaving their state is just plain old white flight, something happening in all states, except it is often kept within those states, as whites flee to different neighborhoods--the few remaining whites in Detroit and Memphis, are you listening?--since most other states have NOT YET become as demographically third-world as California. (Has anyone else read any of the latest glowing reports on Nashville's booming 'Little Kurdistan'?)

     Tellingly, there are still some overwhelmingly white 'red sate' geographic areas within California that if taken together would be larger than some entire red states. Of course all this is never mentioned in such columns as this. Hence the second sentence above.

Demographic changes in high-immigration areas can be breathtaking these days, as we see the accumulation reach unfortunate markers. One example: the population of London is no longer majority white because of immigration, the high birth rates of newbies and a classic case of white flight.

Another shocker: the number of Muslims residing in the UK has doubled in the years between 2001 and 2011.

Below, hostile Muslims shrieked insults at British troops returning from Afghanistan in 2010.

Interestingly, even the immigrants don’t all like the changes brought by importing diversity en masse. ...

     When it comes to black comedy, no pun intended, you have to love the idea that the UK is becoming so immigrationally hellzapoppin that even immigrants are complaining about the cultural chaos. On the other hand, I reside in California, where, geographically situated as we are, for almost five decades we have had front-row seats in watching what happens when Western ruling elites merrily decide that their own people and civilization are expendable.
