CEC - Peter Goodchild: Cultural Marxism = Everything That Is Wrong With The West - Whether Bolshevik Rev, Multi-Marx or West's open borders, core mover = The Tribe --tma
The moral and intellectual fabric of Western society has been disintegrating for some time. To a large extent the destruction can be blamed on a form of Marxism, socialism, left-wing thinking, "underdog" mentality, which has encouraged the nanny state, with people living in perpetual imbecility and irresponsibility. In the middle of the last century, Marxism never had much luck in intellectual contests among Westerners, so it had to burrow underground, eroding the foundations of modern society and leaving people in a state of perpetual self-doubt and abnegation. This is what is called "cultural Marxism." Not much of the reality of cultural Marxism is clearly evident: most of it is experienced as a mere premonition, like that of a coming change in the weather, and its existence can easily be denied.
Cultural Marxism began in the early twentieth century, when Marxism in the usual sense (i.e. economic Marxism) was a failure in Western Europe; in the First World War, for example, most people were far more interested in defending their country than in overthrowing their government. Cultural Marxism arose because, in order to win in the West, Marxists realized they would have to go underground, working on the "culture" rather than openly advocating revolution. The movement began roughly with Georg Lukács and Antonio Gramsci, who claimed that in order for Marxism to succeed in the West, it was vital to destroy the existing culture by sowing the seeds of doubt regarding all traditional Western moral values. . . .

VDare - M Richer: The Sanctuary Cities Confrontation Will Be Our Fort Sumter. Trump Should Fire Back By Arresting CA Gov. Brown
Every civil war has a Fort Sumter moment—a point of contention over which disputing factions stake a political claim and refuse to budge, leading to all-out war. And in this Cold Civil War through which we are now living, the growing hostility between President Donald Trump and sanctuary state politicians will inevitably produce such a confrontation; probably within the next year. [Attorney General Sessions Raises Stakes for Sanctuary Cities, by Pete Williams, NBC, July 25, 2017] If Donald Trump is wise enough, he can capitalize on the situation in much the same way that Abraham Lincoln capitalized on the Confederate attack on Fort Sumter during the first Civil War. ...
RRW - Australia welcoming Syrian Christian refugees while sending Muslims to USA, Land of the Dumb --tma
….but they don’t want the mostly Muslim ‘refugees’ on Manus and Nauru—the ones the United States is planning to take off their hands***.
As we wait for news about who the terror plotters are in Australia—the ones arrested for planning to take down an Australian airliner—I thought this short news item was telling. How can the US be so stupid, so snookered by the Australian government!
From Speak Life:
While many countries have opened their doors to Muslim migrants from the Middle East, the journey has not been as easy for Christians in search of new homes after fleeing from intense persecution from their countries. However, an aid agency that extends help specifically to Christians is working to change the picture. The Barnabas Fund has set up a program that helps believers from the Middle East to resettle in Australia. ...

Reuters: NY, Trump to use gang violence to press for deportations - Globalists want to import killers then have endless 'civil rights' debates --tma
WASHINGTON/NEW YORK (Reuters) - President Donald Trump will travel on Friday to a New York community shocked by a recent spate of graphic gang murders to highlight his efforts to stop illegal immigration and boost deportations.
Trump's trip to Long Island gives the president an opportunity to showcase some progress on his agenda even as other legislative efforts flounder - and some respite from the chaos of a nasty power struggle among his senior staff that blew up on Thursday.
On Friday, Trump will highlight his administration's push to deport members of the Mara Salvatrucha gang, better known as MS-13, the existence of which his White House blames on lax enforcement of illegal immigration from Central America. ...

Breitbart - Charlotte, NC: Illegal Alien Allegedly Burns Apartments for Revenge, 130 Left Homeless - Some jumped from 2nd, 3rd floors
An illegal alien from Mexico sits in a North Carolina jail after allegedly setting fire to an apartment complex to get revenge on an ex-girlfriend. The fire left 130 residents homeless.
Police arrested Jesus Reyes Lopez, 20, after he reportedly started a fire at the Woodscape Apartments in Charlotte, North Carolina late last week. The fire damaged 40 apartment units and drove 130 people from their homes, the Charlotte Observer reported.
The Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office uncovered Lopez’s immigration status utilizing equipment and training provided by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under the 287(g) program. The program allows access to ICE databases to aid in identifying illegal immigrants and other possible security threats. Sheriff Irwin Carmichael told the local newspaper this program makes both his staff and the community safer. ICE officials placed an immigration hold on the Mexican national to prevent him being released back into the community.
Lopez now faces two counts of attempted murder, arson, and damage to property by use of an incendiary device ...
RRW - Growth-at-all-costs critics complain as Trump slows refugees, rate of Minnesota/US overpopulation - Deep State demands violent corrupt third world Multi-Marx anthill USA --tma
One more story about immigrants/refugees fueling growth, this time in Minnesota….
I’m not an economist, but what exactly is growth—is growth more houses being built that gobble up open space? Is growth putting more cars on the road? Building more roads? Is growth constructing more schools and hiring more teachers? Building more Walmarts or more low-income housing? Does growth require more government agencies including for more services such as welfare and police? And, does growth mean that we generally need more government to control everybody and every thing?
I know, call me an economic ignoramus, but why is all that a good thing—that we must haul in more and more (culture challenging) immigrants to fuel the growth? Seems like it’s a vicious cycle to me!
The more immigrants we admit to work for mostly big global corporations, the more we need to supply them with things. Is that what growing the economy means?
(See yesterday’s post about how the UN is a driver for mass migration and globalization.)
Anyway, here is a meandering story (worth reading!) from the Twin Cities Business Journal that basically boils down to yet one more whack at Donald Trump for cracking down on immigration of all sorts.
It begins with a whinefest about those good (upstanding!) Minnesota workers illegally crossing in to Canada as they scamper to get out of Trump’s way. (Emphasis below is mine)

Though Donald Trump conquered the Republican Party, relatively few “Trump Republicans” followed his lead in the 2016 election or later. Conventional Republicans were dumbfounded by his victory—even using their surprise as an explanation why they didn’t have an Obamacare replacement bill ready [One Reason The GOP health bill is a mess: No one thought Trump would win, by Paul Kane, Washington Post, July 6, 2017].
There is a crying need for a populist “Trump Caucus” within the party the President ostensibly leads. A key figure: Paul Nehlen, who heroically challenged GOP House Speaker Paul Ryan during the 2016 primaries on a nationalist platform. And now, with Wage The Battle, Nehlen has laid out the playbook for Trump Republicans. ...
