MATT BARBER: LEFT'S NEW CRUSADE: ADULT-KID SEX
So much for the left’s “consenting adults” rhetoric on sex. Forever the consummate conservationists, our self-described “progressive” friends at the ACLU, MSNBC and elsewhere have been ramping-up efforts to downsize from “consenting adults” to merely “consenting” – a far less cumbersome qualifier in the noble struggle for unrestrained sexual license.
Tolerating “intergenerational romance” for “minor-attracted” adults is all the rage these days. . . .

This whole idea of minors being able to grant consent for sexual relations with adults is about what you would expect would be the next step in our overlords’ world view that has convinced many of us that it is enlightened and fashionable for whites to be discriminated against on college entrance requirements and jobs, and that Europeans, or the people of Western civilization, should welcome the demographic demise of their own grandkids’ grandkids.

Several years after Vladimir Nabokov’s ‘Lolita’ came out I remember one reviewer refer to it as “disturbing.” And it truly is, not just for the sex scenes back in 1955, but because the author forces you to live in the head of a relentless but personable and often funny pedophile, where you are forced to develop a sort of emotional empathy for someone doing something so wrong and disgusting.

Even more telling, many reviewers have concluded, as one reviewer did, “And she seduces him!" But did she really? And this relates to this new push to legalize the rape of children.

Adults, compared to kids, have almost infinite powers of manipulation. So you get some young girl, who, like many youngsters, is desperate for adult approval, particularly from non-family adults. She is also curious about and feeling her first sexual desires and is insecure about but eager to enter the new exciting adult world.

So what does Humbert Humbert do? He makes himself the equivalent of a glamorous movie star in the girl’s eyes, and finally puts himself in a position where intimacy is likely to occur--and, surprise, surprise, the girl ‘makes the first move,’ seemingly freeing the pedophile from any responsibility.

This fictional character's magic trick worked so well that the very name Lolita has ever since often been used as an adjective describing some underage girl as some sort of oversexed nymphet who is bound and determined to seduce and otherwise honorable but humanly vulnerable older man. Apparently Nabokov had no desires on this score. Just an excellent writer who taught readers a lesson about the seductive manipulations of pedophiles. However, many did not learn this lesson, but were cluelessly seduced by the seductions of the fictional molester.

And this is the sort of perverted hogwash being served up again by today’s more fashionable Multicultural Marxist child rapists and their political friends. Obviously the larger agenda here is to break down Western civilization by destroying the bonds of the traditional family.
