‘Sanctuary State’ California and Its Coming Breakup? –tma

Sanctuary State’ California and Its Coming Breakup?

During our long decades of open-borders presidents if voters made any polite inquiries to their state and local officials about such problems as illegal alien caused DUI deaths or just outright murders, rapes, gang violence, welfare fraud or the like, they most often were told: ‘Immigration enforcement is the jurisdiction of the federal government.’ It was hard not to imagine them smirking.

Cynical? Apparently not. Now that we finally no longer have some stealth champion of open borders in the Oval Office it turns out that states and localities are only too happy to dive down deep into federal immigration policy–so long as they can gleefully, theatrically thwart federal law enforcement.

It is repeatedly reported, for example, that the vast majority of outstanding warrants for murder in Los Angeles County are for illegal aliens. What does it say about these people we elect to office that when they hear of illegal alien crimes, such as the murder of the young Kate Steinle while walking with her dad along San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf, that their first reaction is to spring to the defense of illegal aliens by trying to protect them from federal law enforcement? Mind you, these are not illegals who have merely invaded America, but those who have committed other serious crimes.

Ironically all of this began when the federal government threw open America’s borders ever wider, starting in 1965. The latest most over-the-top example of state lawlessness is the legislation, Senate Bill 54, just signed by Governor Jerry Brown, making California a ‘sanctuary state.’

Residents of Northern California and Sierra Nevada California should deeply ponder the quality of life in store for their great-grandkids as we remain shackled to what might be called future Mexiforniastan, as we are inexorably, demographically dragged down into the corrupt and violent third world. Obviously those born with ‘White Privilege,’ from loggers to disabled vets, will be increasingly hated.

In the meantime, the alleged perpetrator is reportedly still at large and should be approached with caution. Distinguishing characteristics: end-stage thinning hair, expensive suits, often seen gliding by in motorcades heavily protected by taxpayer financed security that California voters themselves could never hope to afford for their own families.
