Europe still spellbound by Kennedy star quality (I admired JFK at the time, but was a kid in a Democratic household. It is strange that this article has no polling data to back up its claims. Also puzzling, a mainstream media that celebrates open-borders 'multiculturalism' at every turn does not mention what Muslim 'Europeans' think of this drinking, adulterous Irish Catholic. If they have heard of him. )

Angus Mackinnon
Paris (AFP) - An immoral womaniser and an ineffective US president? Or a courageous visionary who laid the foundations for victory in the Cold War?

Whatever the answer to those questions, it's fair to say John F Kennedy's reputation has not come through the last 50 years unscathed.
Or at least not in the United States.
However In Europe, the JFK brand is as strong as ever, his star quality undimmed in the harsh light of historical hindsight. . . .
