Liberty GB - Paul Weston: Was Germanwings Pilot a Muslim Convert?

Was Germanwings Pilot a Muslim Convert?

Like many frightful Islamophobes, as soon as I heard about the Germanwings plane crash, my immediate thought was, "Is this linked to terrorism?" Followed swiftly by, "Is either of the pilots called Mohammed?"
Strictly speaking, one doesn't have to be a fully paid-up racist/ Islamophobe to think such inappropriate thoughts, because unfortunately 99.9% of all terrorist atrocities nowadays are unarguably carried out by the Religion of Peace, regardless of whether left-liberals accept this terrible statistic or not.
Not only that, but the recent history of murder by suicide when linked to aeroplanes - especially when one considers the multiple planes used on 9/11 - does rather point the finger at Islam and jihad, a fact not lost on any sentient being when going through security controls at any airport, controls which have been put in place because of Islam's fascination with aerial-infidel-murder rather than for the screening out of potential Buddhist zealots or Hindu fanatics.
Most people have forgotten about the case of EgyptAir Flight 990, which crashed into the Atlantic Ocean on 31 October 1999 after Muslim co-pilot Gameel Al-Batouti took advantage of the captain's temporary absence from the cockpit, turned the auto-pilot off and dived into the sea whist muttering "Tawkalt ala Allah" over and over again, which means "I entrust myself unto God" - a sort of pre-cursor to Allahu Akbar, as it were.
Only recently, another Muslim-piloted plane, Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370, simply disappeared in inexplicable circumstances. Losing one plane is unfortunate, losing two smacks of something more than just carelessness in the world of Islamic aviation alone.
So, is there the possibility that First Officer Andreas Lubitz was a Muslim convert? At the moment it is just internet gossip, but even as gossip it cannot be discounted entirely. Lubitz took a six-month break from his pilot training course, which is unusual. It is also time aplenty to convert to Islam. Police searching his home have found an "item of significance" which is not a suicide note apparently, leaving one to wonder just what it could possibly be.
The mainstream media report that Lubitz recently split up with his fiancée but she remains nameless. Why so? In usual circumstances reporters would be camped outside her home thrusting armfuls of bristling microphones into her face, but in this case they seem to have adopted a degree of compassion not normally found in the media grief industry. Is it because she is, allegedly, a fiancée of Muslim Turkish descent? Something those in charge of ensuring 'community cohesion' would rather we did not know about?
In her unofficial capacity, Megyn Kelly of Fox News claims Andreas Lubitz was indeed a Muslim convert and that he had spent time at the same radical Mosque in Bremen which spawned Mohammed Atta, he of the infamous 9/11 airliner attacks on the World Trade Centre. I'm not sure where she got this from, but she is certainly going out on a limb, unless she knows something we do not. A career-ending limb I would suggest, if it transpires Lubitz did indeed convert, but to Mormonism ...
At the moment this is all conjecture, but however it all turns out one thing is unarguably true: Islam is absolutely behind the crash of Germanwings flight 4U9525. Prior to 9/11 it was easy to waltz into a cockpit and serve the captain coffee whilst sitting on his knee, but post 9/11 it became considerably harder after anti-terrorist security doors were introduced - which in this particular instance managed to stop a determined captain with an axe from smashing his way in despite a continual assault for some seven minutes.
Personally, I won't be surprised one iota if Andreas Lubitz turns out to be a Muslim convert. The sad reality of Islam is that if you are a bit of a psychotic oddball (as Lubitz clearly was) then Islam does have certain attractions in a way Christianity or any other religion in existence do not. I suppose we will just have to wait to find out ...
