Hillary Clinton vs. Jeb Bush Inspires Fear, Loathing
When Rush Limbaugh weighed in on Jeb Bush's interest in the 2016 presidential race late last year, his trumped-up take essentially was, "What difference -- at this point -- does it make?"
"Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush, on the key important issues, they are two peas in the same pod," the conservative talk show emperor bellowed on Dec. 17, the day after Bush signaled he would seriously explore a candidacy.
He playfully and mischievously pitched that the two should run as a ticket, rather than as opponents.
"If Jeb's at the top of the ticket and they win and something happens and Hillary has to take over, nobody'd know the difference. Same token: Hillary is elected president, Jeb's veep ... nobody'd know the difference," Limbaugh asserted. "Wouldn't skip a beat." ...
