Politico published a sob story about farmers who are upset with Donald Trump because if illegal aliens are deported, who will remain to pick the lettuce?

California contractor Carlos Castañeda... fear Trump's talk about erecting a "big beautiful wall" at the border and deporting millions could make it nearly impossible to find the guest workers they need — workers who would obtain legal status under most comprehensive reform bills.
"There are growers out there screaming for labor," said Castañeda, a farm labor contractor in San Luis Obispo County in central California. "The people who are coming in are doing the work that not a single American would like to do."

Not a single American!  Not one!  Those lazy American bastards!  Hey, this guy sounds a little like Jeb Bush, doesn't he? ...

     This is always so bogus. Even if Americans won't do this kind of work--Not true!--we are expected by the open-borders-forever farmers to think that the 20 to 30 million illegals who are already here in the US now won't do farm work either? Wow, American laziness must be really contagious! 

     I recall one TV news story where a Big Ag guy held a news conference to show how his crops were going to rot in the field without illegal workers continuing to flood across the border. Then one newsman actually did his job (!) and investigated in the nearby town--and it turned out that no one in that town knew that the farmer was wanting to hire workers!
