The new government of Austrian chancellor Sebastian Kurz is getting tough on migrants. Statistics show that already 6,096 migrants were deported this year, the Österreichische Tageszeitung reports.

6,096 foreigners were taken out of the country in the first half of the year.
2,106 were forcibly deported – that is a year-on-year increase of 38%.
2,582 voluntarily left – that’s 4% more.
