Mini Book Review & PC Grade - Detective Thriller ‘Corporate Truth,’ by Karl William Fleet (2018).
Skillfully written. Fun ultra-evildoer. Likable, underdeveloped, infrequently appearing detective.
Political Correctness?
Most ravishingly beautiful character is the daughter of illegals–check.
Villain blackmailing her with threats to report and deport her parents!–check.
Memo to Karl William Fleet: Feds can barely deport criminal gang members with face tattoos, much less respectable elderly parents of beautiful advertising women.
Story completely unresolved at book’s end. Hey, dummy, you gotta buy the next one! No thanks.
Political correctness grade on a scale where A+ = PC so over-the-top that it is unintentionally comical.
PC: B+.
Book: B.
