WND - Atlanta: Illegal Hispanic teens invade home, rape mother in front of 4 year old son--MSM hides illegal status - Thanks Obama-Ryan! --tma

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. – It’s easily one of the most horrific crimes of the year in the Atlanta area, and now WND has found that the lead suspect is an illegal alien from Latin America.
On June 15, police arrested three Hispanic teenagers accused of raping a 23-year-old Gwinnett County mother in front of her 4-year-old son.
The suspects are Josue Aguilar Ramirez, 19, Francisco Palencia, 17, and an unidentified 15-year-old girl. All three face charges of kidnapping, rape, cruelty to children, aggravated sodomy and aggravated battery.
The oldest, Ramirez, is an illegal immigrant who is subject to an immigration hold at the Gwinnett County Detention Center, according to online jail records. ...

Charlotte Ob - Trump cracks down on illegal parent-paid child smuggling - MSM shocked: Causes fear, confusion--sometimes law knocks on door! --tma

The Trump administration has begun a new surge of immigration enforcement targeting parents who have paid to have their children illegally brought to the United States.
The recent arrests, which had been largely rumored but not confirmed until now, have set off a new wave of confusion and fear through immigrant communities that have already been subject to greater enforcement.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents have begun sharing information with immigration agents about U.S.-based relatives of unaccompanied children. The information is being used to track down the parents, according to lawyers and government case workers familiar with the practice. ...

Homeland Security Secretary John F. Kelly said Thursday that members of Congress have tried to “threaten” him over his department’s stepped up enforcement of the immigration laws they wrote, and called for even stiffer laws to punish sanctuary cities and repeat-illegal immigrants.
Mr. Kelly said he was “offended” by those lawmakers — who he didn’t name — who he said “often threaten me and my officers” when they try to enforce laws that call for the deportation of illegal immigrants. ...

RRW - Episcopal Bishop in Maine: It is our moral obligation to take in refugees - How convenient since 95+% church funding = taxpayer $

Posted by Ann Corcoran on June 29, 2017
But, is it the obligation of the US taxpayer to pay the Episcopal Church millions annually for THEIR Christian charity?  Of course that is one of the major moral questions that has driven this blog for ten years!
Bishop Lane in a 2009 story about the Episcopal church in Maine going bankrupt. http://www.virtueonline.org/episcopal-dioceses-face-downsizing-closing-parishes-more-departures
You can read the Bishop’s opinion piece at the Bangor Daily News:
With the news that the U.S. Supreme Court has allowed a limited version of the president’s travel ban to go into effect, we should recall our moral obligation to assist refugees seeking a chance to rebuild their lives and create a better future for their families. As the world searches for solutions to the largest refugee crisis in global history — more than 22 million people worldwide of whom fewer than 1 percent will ever be resettled in another country — we in Maine must do our part.
It is easy to be charitable with someone else’s money!

I searched the Bangor Daily News piece for any mention of the fact (published in their own publication) that the church is receiving 99.5% of its funds for refugee resettlement from the taxpayer.
Episcopal Migration Ministries (the church’s refugee resettlement wing) is not even a separate legal entity, so our money goes directly to the church!
Therefore we, or Mainers, don’t need any lectures about moral duties!  Christian charity should be privately given, not extorted from every taxpaying American!
The first and foremost Congressional reform needed with our process of resettling refugees in the US is to bar the phony charitable non-profit middlemen*** from receiving federal dollars for their ‘charitable’ work.
I have a huge archive on Maine and its problems with refugees and asylum seekers, click here.

In the sixth month of Donald Trump’s presidency, we are witnessing an unprecedented meltdown of much of the media. Standards have been tossed overboard in a frenzy to bring down the president.
Trump, like all presidents, deserves coverage that is skeptical and tough, but also fair. That’s not what he’s getting.
What started as bias against him has become a cancer that is consuming the best and brightest. In rough biblical justice, media attempts to destroy the president are boomeranging and leaving their reputations in tatters.
He accuses them of publishing fake news, and they respond with such blind hatred that they end up publishing fake news. That’ll show him.

Latest tma_sierrahills PC Grade for Crime Fiction: James Patterson's 'Run For Your Life' awarded an A+ = an effort at politically correct virtue-signaling so extreme it edges into hilarity

Run For Your Life, James Patterson, Michael Ledwidge, Vision, 2010.

     Detective Michael Bennett's kids:

"A total of ten, count them: two Hispanic, two black, one Asian, and the rest white."

Mercifully this already appears on page 25, meaning a perfect PC grade, thus no further evaluation or reading required by yours truly.

End note:

Patterson is known for contributing to many worthy causes, good for him. However, the dreamy, or career calculated, pursuit of multiculturalism will only bring down the West, causing catastrophic suffering, as we are now witnessing by bloodbaths in the US, UK, France, Germany, Sweden, etc.

Last I read, Patterson was planning to coauthor--something he does a lot, a lot--one of his crime fiction novels with former President Bill Clinton. The jokes almost write themselves, such as: 'We know who the real expert on crime will be.'

Hey, what could go wrong?

A London school might be forced to close because it does not include homosexuality and gender reassignment surgery in its curriculum.
The private Orthodox Jewish elementary school, Vishnitz Girls School, has thus far resisted the British government’s attempts to force gender ideology on the school’s children.
A report by the Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted) says that the school does not teach its students — ages three to eight — “a full understanding of fundamental British values,” according to Heat Street. The report claimed that the girls “are not taught explicitly about issues such as sexual orientation” and the students’ “spiritual, moral, social and cultural development” is restricted and “does not promote equality of opportunity in ways that take account of differing lifestyles.” ...

Mystery on the Savanna

By Alex Shoumatoff

According to Fennessy, the main reason the field isn’t more crowded is that giraffes aren’t as interesting to study as other large African animals. A scientist like Jane Goodall could spend years living among the chimpanzees, mimicking their behavior and learning their intricate social networks. Giraffes are much more enigmatic. They glide placidly, their heads high above all the other creatures. They wander in and out of different herds, seemingly unattached. Most of their communication likely takes place at frequencies too low for the human ear to hear. “People love giraffes, let’s be honest,” Fennessy says. “But they haven’t been anthropomorphized in the same way as other animals. They’re not like elephants, with an issue like ivory getting everyone’s attention. They aren’t cunning predators. They aren’t hairy with big teeth. As a result, people tend to think of them as just another antelope-type thing that lions like to eat.”
In 1998, there were an estimated 140,000 giraffes scattered throughout Africa. The International Union for Conservation of Nature now lists the population as 97,562 and recently updated the giraffe’s status from “Least Concern” to “Vulnerable.” ...

Yahoo: Asylum seekers in Canada who fled Trump now trapped in legal limbo - Hispanics not welcome in Chinese/Muslim Canada? --tma

TORONTO/WINNIPEG, Manitoba (Reuters) - Thousands of people who fled to Canada to escape President Donald Trump’s crackdown on illegal migrants have become trapped in legal limbo because of an overburdened refugee system, struggling to find work, permanent housing or enroll their children in schools.
Refugee claims are taking longer to be completed than at any time in the past five years, according to previously unpublished Immigration and Refugee Board data provided to Reuters. Those wait times are set to grow longer after the IRB in April allocated “up to half” of its 127 tribunal members to focus on old cases. The number of delayed hearings more than doubled from 2015 to 2016 and is on track to increase again this year.
Hearings are crucial to establishing a claimant’s legal status in Canada. Without that status, they struggle to convince employers to hire them or landlords to rent to them. Claimants cannot access loans or student financial aid, or update academic or professional credentials to meet Canadian standards. ...

(AP) — The jihadis' targets in Europe are depressingly repetitive: the Brussels metro, the Champs-Elysees in Paris (twice), tourist-filled bridges in London (twice) and a U.K. rock concert. And that's just the past few months.
The steady stream of attacks on centers of daily life have drawn pledges from Europeans not to let terrorists change how they live, but in ways large and small they already have.
There is a heightened awareness and quicker reactions, especially in the hardest-hit countries of France, Britain and Belgium, that would have seemed unthinkable just a few years ago. ...

Pat Buchanan: The Passing of the Pelosi Era - Dems in shock on Georgia loss--'But all our wine and cheese tasting partiers hate Trump!' --tma

Image result for nancy pelosi cartoon

In the first round of the special election for the House seat in Georgia’s Sixth District, 30-year-old Jon Ossoff swept 48 percent. He more than doubled the vote of his closest GOP rival, Karen Handel.
A Peach State pickup for the Democrats and a huge humiliation for President Trump seemed at hand.
But in Tuesday’s final round, Ossoff, after the most costly House race in history, got 48 percent again, and lost. If Democratic donors are grabbing pitchforks, who can blame them?
And what was Karen Handel’s cutting issue?
Ossoff lived two miles outside the district and represented the values of the Democratic minority leader, whom he would vote to make the speaker of the house, Nancy Pelosi of San Francisco.
The Pelosi factor has been a drag on Democrats in all four of the special elections the party has lost since Trump’s November triumph.
Prediction: Democrats will not go into the 2018 Congressional elections with San Fran Nan as the party’s face and future. ..

LAT - [MSM spin] Number of refugees admitted to U.S. drops by almost half - Down only 12% this time last year

LA Times headline is deceptive (yes, can you believe it!)

Posted by Ann Corcoran on June 24, 2017
Here is the headline of an LA Times story yesterday designed to give an impression to lazy readers that President Trump (the meany) has drastically cut refugee admissions.  He hasn’t.
Number of refugees admitted to U.S. drops by almost half

Their story begins:
The number of refugees admitted to the United States was cut by nearly half in the first three months of the Trump administration compared with the final three months of the Obama presidency, reflecting the new president’s skepticism toward immigration.
Further down, at least they try to be honest for readers willing to read more than the headline as they report what we reported ad nauseam and that is that the outgoing Obama State Department was pouring refugees in to the US at a phenomenal rate.
Obama at the UN last September just as he was opening the flood gates (wide!). http://www.lavocedinewyork.com/en/un/2016/09/21/obama-at-the-un-global-refugee-crisis-most-urgent-test-of-our-time/

The data suggest that the Obama administration, as it was about to turn over power to Trump, significantly stepped up the number of refugees admitted. Arrivals in its final three months reflected an 86% year-over-year increase compared to the same period the previous year.

In Trump’s first three months, arrivals were 12% lower than for the same period in the previous year.

But, heck, 12% lower doesn’t make for a headline designed to make President Trump look bad.
Have a look at the data for the last ten years (from Wrapsnet) and see the astronomical numbers that Obama was pushing through the pipeline in the final months of his presidency.

I’m getting sick of having to show how the mainstream media skews the news on refugees.  I bet you are too!
Then the LA Times story says this:
Trump has sought to limit the number of refugees to 50,000 this year. But adverse rulings in the courts could work against him.
As of today we are at 48,856, and at the present rate of arrivals we will reach 50,000 in a week to ten days.  I have maintained from the outset that Trump can legally slow or outright halt the number being admitted (under the ceiling of 110,000 set by Obama) at any time and will be watching to see how the Supreme Court handles this portion of the case before them.  ...

DW: Identitarian movement - Germany's 'new right' hipsters

An Identitarian banner hanging from the Brandenburg Gate (picture-alliance/dpa/P. Zinken)
Picture-Alliance, etc.

The so-called Identitarian Movement's popularity is growing in Germany following a series of high-profile public demonstrations. DW's Sumi Somaskanda talked with two prominent members about the group's goals.

A small but dramatic demonstration stopped tourists in their tracks at Berlin's Brandenburg Gate in late August 2015: a group of young protesters clambered atop the famous monument and unfurled a black banner with the words "Secure Borders Secure Future." These were activists from the Identitarian Movement (IB), a reactionary youth movement on the rise across Europe.
It was a watershed moment for the IB in Germany. Much of their campaign until that point had been waged on social media and online forums. This was their biggest public splash - and it worked. Images of the activists atop the Brandenburg Gate rippled across German media, thrusting the Identitarians into the spotlight. ...
