A little awkward for me too. Wikipedia is at times very valuable but consistently spins its entries to the Left. I've heard wiki say it does not require this. Possibly true, since academia and corporations (as well as MSM, Hollywood ...) are almost totally controlled by the Globalist Multi-Marxist Left, conveniently, wiki need not order experts to carry out this unethical behavior.
I've heard that a lot of retired academics work on your entries. Yes, I can just imagine them relishing being able to weave their ideology into their entries, as they did into their classroom lectures. Many on the Left probably consider Multi-Marxism as simply the modern enlightened way of thinking, rather than bias.
I know of what I speak, having been a 'Sixties liberal.' However, I finally grew up and saw that this ideology is hypocritical, contradictory and utopian--and is destined to crash and burn. For example, most of these people favor, or fall silent on, US open borders policies, yet think of themselves as committed 'environmentalists,' at the same time that open borders will mean an infinite redoubling of US population numbers = bye-bye environment.
I appreciate the good work that wiki does. If only it would make a major effort at unbiased honesty.
Thank you for your message,

Two years ago, you donated $[x] to keep Wikipedia online
for hundreds of millions of readers. I'm deeply grateful
for your continued support. You are part of the 1% of
readers who donated to support Wikipedia. We need your help again this year.
I ask you, humbly: please renew your donation today.
Perhaps you’re thinking: Wikipedia will be fine if I
don’t give today. Someone else always gives.
It’s a little awkward to say this, but consider that
fewer than 1% of readers donate to Wikipedia. It’s
your generosity that keeps us going. The knowledge that what we’re doing matters, and it matters to people like
you. It ensures Wikipedia is here for you when you need us.
The speed of information in the digital age can be
overwhelming. News comes and goes, regenerating itself at a dizzying pace. Shiny icons and flashy ads have us clicking
frantically. Wikipedia is a way to hit pause and take a deep
breath. There’s great value in slow information,
information that requires time and dedication to be written,
read, digested and shared. Accuracy takes time.
If all our past donors gave again today, our fundraiser would be over within an hour. We’re not there yet. Please renew your and gift and ensure that Wikipedia remains independent, ad-free, and thriving another year.
Wikipedia is the closest thing the world has to a public
internet. We’re always open, always free, and always
there when you need us. We’re here to answer your most
embarrassing questions or resolve the silliest debates. But
we’re also here to be a common point of reference for
the world, the foundation for shared understanding. This is
a role we take seriously, and we know our integrity is
rooted in our independence.
Folks like you help us maintain that integrity, quality, and
accessibility. You safeguard our non-profit mission. Please
help us keep this wonderful website free and independent
for another year, and do your part to make a better world
for years to come.
Now is the time we ask. If Wikipedia is useful to you, please
take one minute to keep it online, ad-free, and growing
