I always get a kick out of the open-borders argument, 'We took the land away from the Indians!'

     (1) Setting aside that it now looks like the American Indians were not the first group here, since there are today many remaining American Indians, how are we helping them by further inundating them with millions more outsiders? With friends like open-borders ideologues, American Indians need no further enemies;

     (2) And if this is the big clincher moral argument, then why are areas in Europe that have been peopled by Whites for thousands of years, when they are now being equally invaded by millions of non-Whites, do not these same pious ultra-moral people shout, 'Hey, don't come in and take the land away from the Europeans!'?

Obviously the teary-eyed American Indian argument is just one more of the countless talking points of the never-ending evil scam to end Western civilization and White people who built it over thousands of years. --tma

Liberty GB - Ben Walker - Neighbors from Hell: What Diversity and Integration Mean to Me - UK version of Obama 'seeding' White communities with Muslim refugees and inner-city Blacks? --tma

My neighbourhood used to be nice. I live in what was considered to be a good area in a relatively expensive flat. A few days ago one of my neighbours assaulted one of the other residents with an iron bar. This took place in broad daylight with a number of witnesses. The police were called and took statements. They have come to know my area well over these past two years.
What happened? Why did my formerly lovely neighbourhood change? I now live next door to a man who has kicked the doors in his flat in half and torn the wallpaper off the walls, and yells abuse at his girlfriend when they are outside. I assume he lives there as part of our government's policy of 'integrating' the 'disadvantaged' people in our society. I would certainly be shocked if it turns out that he is a bank manager or an engineer.
On paper the idea of moving drug addicts and people who are third generation unemployed into areas where people work hard sounds like a good idea. Except in reality it isn't. Take my neighbour who has vandalised the free flat he was given. There is precisely zero chance that we will drag him up, but every chance that his behaviour (and the growing number of residents here who are like him) will drag this neighbourhood down. His actions and behaviour give him results - he gets free stuff from the government, and all he has to do is remember to vote on election day for the people who continue to give him free stuff. What possible incentive can he have to ever change?
Among my other neighbours are people who think it is the height of hilarity to play their music loud and throw rubbish into the gardens.
The smell of marijuana as you approach my building would probably make you gag.
There have been increased burglaries here. I have Muslim neighbours who pray for my demise (I happen to be very familiar with their culture and what they pray for), as well as some hostile Romanians, and a fairly equal distribution of other nationalities, so I guess the diversity has been evenly applied.
Who do I have to thank for all this diversity and integration? Our current government, of course. ...

American Thinker - Thomas Lifson: Poll reveals huge majority support mandatory deporting of illegals

The headline from Investor’s Business Daily on their own poll uses the word “shock” – “Shock Poll: 59% Back Trump On Deportation of Illegals.”

But as Jared Peterson wrote on these pages yesterday, for the last two years, Rasmussen polling has demonstrated a huge gap between the overwhelming majority of Americans and the political establishment of the GOP on immigration policy.

The IBD polling, which mentions mandatory deportation, reinforces this stunning disconnect between politicians and the people they supposedly serve, a chasm that Donald Trump has spotted and used to his huge advantage. ...

RR Watch - Ann Corcoran - Federal refugee contractors: Houston is “the perfect destination for refugees!” - "US State Department does not choose which towns and cities will ‘welcome’ new resettlement seed communities—the nine federal non-governmental contractors do!"

This is your typical warm and fuzzy story about refugees ‘melting’ into America.
In fact it is one of those stories that drives me to tell you about the welfare moochers, murderers, rapists and terrorists in the refugee stream—you know to give balance to the news!
I’m skipping all the heartwarming information about one refugee’s successful resettlement in Houston, described as in the top four places in the world for refugee resettlement, to get to the bit of information I found revealing.
The US State Department does not choose which towns and cities will ‘welcome’ new resettlement seed communities—the nine federal non-governmental contractors*** do!
Lawrence Bartlett

Bartlett is Asst. Sec. of State Anne Richard’s right hand man. Are the contractors leading the State Department by the nose?
We knew they played a huge role, but who knew they were calling the shots.  That means that no elected official at any level of government is deciding the future of your community—a bunch of left-leaning non-profit groups are in charge!
Here is what Larry Bartlett, director of refugee admissions at the US State Department, told the Houston Chronicle:
A trend stands out in Harris County refugee data. The vast majority of Houston’s refugees came from warm climates: Cuba, Iraq, Congo and Somalia. But the resettlement agencies don’t place people based on a preference for a hot, steamy climate.
“We don’t consider climate a major driver,” said Larry Bartlett, director of refugee admissions at the State Department, which oversees the resettlement process.

But assigning refugees to cities in the United States does not fall to the State Department. Those decisions are made by a consortium of nine national nongovernmental organizations.

There ought to be a law!

Then this:  more than half of the refugee flow to your town or city is from family reunification!

I mentioned that here in a post about Twin Falls, Idaho. So that means once your town has become an established seed community there is virtually no stopping it as the contractors are immediately filing applications for the extended family to come on in!
The Houston Chronicle story continued:
In a 2012 press briefing, Bartlett said that the refugee resettlement process prioritizes family reunification. He explained in a recent telephone interview that refugees indicate on their application whether they have a relative or friend in the United States. It does not help their chances, but it can help decide their resettlement location.
“Over half of our refugees are joining family members or other U.S. ties,” Bartlett said. This statistic likely applies in Houston; many refugees are placed here to join family or friends already living in this cosmopolitan melting pot.
Ultimately, the nine national organizations propose a number for each city each year, he said. Houston welcomes more refugees than any other American city because its nonprofit sector has the capacity to assist them.
The organizations consult with local refugee services agencies and elected officials to decide that number. Houston has a significant resettlement infrastructure: six of the nine national organizations operate in Houston, where they partner with five local refugee services agencies. “It’s a very successful site,” Bartlett said.
From my own experience I know that “consultation” with local elected officials is often not much more than a few minutes of briefing where the contractor tells the local elected government that they have no choice in the matter.

If there were any Members of Congress (besides Texas Rep. Brian Babin) or Senators with a backbone willing to begin at least amending the Refugee Act of 1980, one important fix would be to strip the CONTRACTORS of their power to target towns and cities for colonization!  It is outrageous—no one elected them!

Sign the petition, demand a local role in the process!  It might not be a perfect solution, but at least you have a shot at choosing through the election process officials you can trust.  There are 1,358 signatures on the petition to date representing all 50 states!
Texas is the number one resettlement state in the nation, please see our Texas archive, here. ...

Liberty GB - Soeren Kern: Germany's Muslim Demographic Revolution - "Germany's Muslim population is set to skyrocket by more than 700,000 in 2015, pushing the total number of Muslims in the country to nearly 6 million for the first time."

Germany's Muslim population is set to skyrocket by more than 700,000 in 2015, pushing the total number of Muslims in the country to nearly 6 million for the first time.
The surge in Germany's Muslim population - propelled by a wave of migration unprecedented since the Second World War - represents a demographic shift of epic proportions, one that critics of the country's open-door immigration policy warn will change the face of Germany forever.
At a press conference on August 19, German Interior Minister Thomas de Maizière revealed that a record 800,000 migrants and refugees - the equivalent of nearly one percent of Germany's total population - are expected to arrive in Germany in 2015, a four-fold increase over 2014. He said that 83,000 migrants had arrived in July alone, and that the figure for August would be higher still.
De Maizière said that although many of the migrants are from the Middle East and North Africa, a large number (40%) are from countries in the Balkans, including Albania and Kosovo. This implies that nearly half of those arriving in Germany are economic migrants, not refugees fleeing war zones.
Of the 800,000 migrants and refugees arriving in Germany in 2015, at least 80% (or 640,000) are Muslim, according to a recent estimate by the Central Council of Muslims in Germany (Zentralrat der Muslime in Deutschland, ZMD), a Muslim umbrella group based in Cologne. This estimate is not in dispute.
In addition to the newcomers, the natural rate of population increase of the Muslim community already living in Germany is approximately 1.6% per year (or 77,000), according to data extrapolated from a recent Pew Research Center study on the growth of the Muslim population in Europe.
Based on Pew projections, the Muslim population of Germany reached an estimated 5,068,000 by the end of 2014. The 640,000 Muslim migrants arriving in Germany in 2015, combined with the 77,000 natural increase, indicates that the Muslim population of Germany will jump by 717,000, to reach an estimated 5,785,000 by the end of 2015. This would leave Germany with the highest Muslim population in Western Europe.
By way of comparison, the surge in Germany's Muslim population would be equivalent to the Muslim population of the United States increasing by 3 million in just one year. ...

Who ever would have thought that Western civilization would end this way, with the overwhelming majority of Westerners happily sending their great-grandkids off to be dispossessed, raped and murdered?

Refugee Resettlement Watch - Ann Corcoran: Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society action alert to thwart “fear and hate campaign” - "Hater" = Don't want USA to become one big Muslim refugee encampment. --tma

The Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS) has put out an alert to its followers to tell Congress to ignore the ‘haters’ and do not suspend the refugee resettlement program (presumably a reference to the Babin bill although they never mention his name).
Melanie Nezer

This is HIAS Washington Lobbying Office head honcho, Melanie Nezer. She is the author of that report that targets us and is presently the chair of the Refugee Council USA which is the lobbying umbrella group for the resettlement contractors and other open borders groups.
It is no surprise that HIAS is apparently out in front (ahead of the other eight federal refugee contractors) on this, on calling anyone who has legitimate concerns about the cost and scope of our present Refugee Admissions Program ‘haters.’
Remember they were behind the $35,000 report, discussed here by Leo Hohmann at World Net Daily which sought to sic the disreputable Southern Poverty Law Center on us!  We first mentioned the report here in 2014 (LOL! they call us the “resistance.”)
This is what HIAS said in an e-mail to its followers yesterday (emphasis is mine):
Will you send a message to your Member of Congress to ask them to stand up for refugee resettlement in the United States?
Even in the face of one of the worst refugee crises in recent history, there are people in our own country who are spreading fear and hatred. Andunfortunately, that rhetoric is reaching policy-makers on both local and national levels.
Since its founding, the United States has been a place of refuge and protection for people who have fled conflict, persecution, and some of the worst violence in the world. With our deep historical and ethical connection to the plight of refugees, the Jewish community is coming together to make sure that our elected officials understand our commitment to the protection of refugees.
We need your help. Send a message to your Member of Congress today so that the voices of compassion and empathy can overpower those of hate.
A similar message was sent out earlier this month from at least one of HIAS local ‘affiliates.’
They direct supporters to their website where a sample text is provided for activists.  This is one bit of that text:
As your constituent, I urge you to oppose any efforts that aim to suspend refugee resettlement in the U.S.
Worried are they?
Give them more to worry about—sign the petition!

NewsMachete: Bush and Trump accuse each other of perverted acts of love - "So I think Trump wins this round. Waiting in the wings are Bush's vast army of orcs, waiting massed behind the Black Gate of Mordor waiting to take on the Tea Party Hobbits, as the Wall Street Journal called them. The word on the street is that 'D Day' (D for Donald?) is going to be sometime after Labor Day"

Isn't Donald Trump great? I mean, I still don't fully trust him, but I simply love how he is making Jeb Bush squirm. Trump produced a short web ad juxtaposing Bush's famous "illegal immigration is an act of love" speech with photos of illegal alien killers.

Perhaps it's not a totally fair comparison, since Bush certainly was speaking generally and probably would not include murderers in his acts of love-making. But, on the other hand, perhaps it's a mostly fair comparison, since Bush seems to paint a broad brush about the supposed benefits of illegal aliens but never the costs. Have you ever heard Bush to say that any illegal alien ever did anything wrong, or is less than totally virtuous? I haven't. What the ad is doing is showing, legitimately I think, that Bush is more sympathetic to illegals than he is to American citizens.

But Jeb is fighting back! Bush says that Trump is soft on crime because he supported liberal politicians. Witness Trump's "act of love" towards Nancy Pelosi: ...
