Breitbart - NumbersUSA: Iowans Voted 2-1 for Pro-American Worker Candidates

Beleaguered American workers scored a victory in the GOP race as two-thirds of Iowa voters preferred candidates who support admitting fewer future legal immigrants to compete for scarce U.S. jobs,” Beck said in reaction to Monday night’s GOP Iowa caucus results.
According to NumbersUSA —  a group in favor of more limited immigration to the U.S. —to Sen. Ted Cruz's win in Iowa with 28 percent of the vote, combined with the percentages Donald Trump (24 percent), Ben Carson (9 percent), Mike Huckabee (2 percent) and Rick Santorum (1 percent) were able to yield totaled nearly 64 percent in favor of candidates whose policies are more pro-American worker than the rest of the field. ...

Missoulian: Anti-refugee protesters at Missoula rally decry 'government-sponsored invasion'

Missoula became a center of the anti-refugee settlement movement Monday morning as more than 100 people from across the state and Idaho took to the snow-lined sidewalk in front of the Missoula County Courthouse to decry what they see as a national threat.
“Right now, we’re locked in a battle to protect our security, to protect our country,” said organizer Jim Buterbaugh of Whitehall. “We are fighting the system, trying to head this thing off at the pass.”
Dubbed the “American Security Rally,” Buterbaugh expressed amazement at the turnout. ...

WND - La Plata High School, Maryland: Student punished for refusing to recite Islamic profession of faith - "John Kevin Wood discovered the teachings and called to voice his objections, the lawsuit says, but the school imposed a 'no trespass' order against him, threatening him with arrest if he came onto school property."

A Maryland high school punished a student for refusing to profess faith in Islam, gave her failing grades for a series of assignments that violated her Christian beliefs then threatened her father with arrest for complaining, a federal lawsuit charges.
The suit was filed in U.S. District Court against the Charles County Public Schools in La Plata, Maryland, its board of education, Principal Evelyn Arnold and Vice Principal Shannon Morris by the Thomas More Law Center.
A spokeswoman for the district told WND that officials were aware of the issue but said Arnold and Morris would not be commenting.
Plaintiffs are Marine Corps veteran John Kevin Wood and his wife, Melissa, who “refuse[d] to allow their teenage daughter to be subjected to Islamic indoctrination and propaganda in her high school world history class.”
The lawsuit charges that the defendants’ “curriculum, practices, policies, actions, procedures, and customs promote the Islamic faith by requiring students to profess the five pillars if Islam.”
The students, the complaint says, were required to “write out and confess the shahada, the Islamic profession of faith.”
The lawsuit charges that school officials concealed the curriculum by using two separate history textbooks, one of which contained the Islamic teachings and which students were required to leave at school. The other, which did not contain the teachings, was allowed to be taken home, the complaint explains. The school also excised the Islamic teachings from the course syllabus. ...

Tucker Carlson - Politico: Donald Trump Is Shocking, Vulgar and Right - "He Could Win"

Embedded image permalink

Tucker Carlson, Politico, January 28, 2016
[ ... ]
{snip} On my street in Northwest Washington, D.C., there’s never been anyone as unpopular as Trump. The Democrats assume he’s a bigot, pandering to the morons out there in the great dark space between Georgetown and Brentwood. The Republicans (those relatively few who live here) fully agree with that assessment, and they hate him even more. They sense Trump is a threat to them personally, to their legitimacy and their livelihoods. {snip}
[ ... ]
But just because Trump is an imperfect candidate doesn’t mean his candidacy can’t be instructive. Trump could teach Republicans in Washington a lot if only they stopped posturing long enough to watch carefully. Here’s some of what they might learn:
He Exists Because You Failed
American presidential elections usually amount to a series of over corrections: Clinton begat Bush, who produced Obama, whose lax border policies fueled the rise of Trump. In the case of Trump, though, the GOP shares the blame, and not just because his fellow Republicans misdirected their ad buys or waited so long to criticize him. Trump is in part a reaction to the intellectual corruption of the Republican Party. That ought to be obvious to his critics, yet somehow it isn’t.
Consider the conservative nonprofit establishment, which seems to employ most right-of-center adults in Washington. Over the past 40 years, how much donated money have all those think tanks and foundations consumed? Billions, certainly. (Someone better at math and less prone to melancholy should probably figure out the precise number.) Has America become more conservative over that same period? Come on. Most of that cash went to self-perpetuation: Salaries, bonuses, retirement funds, medical, dental, lunches, car services, leases on high-end office space, retreats in Mexico, more fundraising. Unless you were the direct beneficiary of any of that, you’d have to consider it wasted.
Pretty embarrassing. And yet they’re not embarrassed. Many of those same overpaid, underperforming tax-exempt sinecure-holders are now demanding that Trump be stopped. Why? Because, as his critics have noted in a rising chorus of hysteria, Trump represents “an existential threat to conservatism.”
Let that sink in. Conservative voters are being scolded for supporting a candidate they consider conservative because it would be bad for conservatism? And by the way, the people doing the scolding? They’re the ones who’ve been advocating for open borders, and nation-building in countries whose populations hate us, and trade deals that eliminated jobs while enriching their donors, all while implicitly mocking the base for its worries about abortion and gay marriage and the pace of demographic change. Now they’re telling their voters to shut up and obey, and if they don’t, they’re liberal.
[ ... ]
On immigration policy, party elders were caught completely by surprise. Even canny operators like Ted Cruz didn’t appreciate the depth of voter anger on the subject. And why would they? If you live in an affluent ZIP code, it’s hard to see a downside to mass low-wage immigration. Your kids don’t go to public school. You don’t take the bus or use the emergency room for health care. No immigrant is competing for your job. (The day Hondurans start getting hired as green energy lobbyists is the day my neighbors become nativists.) Plus, you get cheap servants, and get to feel welcoming and virtuous while paying them less per hour than your kids make at a summer job on Nantucket. It’s all good.
Apart from his line about Mexican rapists early in the campaign, Trump hasn’t said anything especially shocking about immigration. Control the border, deport lawbreakers, try not to admit violent criminals–these are the ravings of a Nazi? This is the “ghost of George Wallace” that a Politico piece described last August? A lot of Republican leaders think so. No wonder their voters are rebelling.
Truth Is Not Only A Defense, It’s Thrilling
When was the last time you stopped yourself from saying something you believed to be true for fear of being punished or criticized for saying it? If you live in America, it probably hasn’t been long. That’s not just a talking point about political correctness. It’s the central problem with our national conversation, the main reason our debates are so stilted and useless. You can’t fix a problem if you don’t have the words to describe it. You can’t even think about it clearly.
This depressing fact made Trump’s political career. In a country where almost everyone in public life lies reflexively, it’s thrilling to hear someone say what he really thinks, even if you believe he’s wrong. It’s especially exciting when you suspect he’s right.
A temporary ban on Muslim immigration? That sounds a little extreme (meaning nobody else has said it recently in public). But is it? Millions of Muslims have moved to Western Europe over the past 50 years, and a sizable number of them still haven’t assimilated. Instead, they remain hostile and sometimes dangerous to the cultures that welcomed them. By any measure, that experiment has failed. What’s our strategy for not repeating it here, especially after San Bernardino—attacks that seemed to come out of nowhere? Invoke American exceptionalism and hope for the best? Before Trump, that was the plan.

He Could Win
Of all the dumb things that have been said about Trump by people who were too slow to get finance jobs and therefore wound up in journalism, perhaps the stupidest of all is the one you hear most: He’ll get killed in the general! This is a godsend for Democrats! Forty-state wipeout! And so it goes mindlessly on.
Actually–and this is no endorsement of Trump, just an interjection of reality–that’s a crock. Of the Republicans now running, Trump likely has the best chance to beat Hillary Clinton, for two reasons:
First, he’s the only Republican who can meaningfully expand the pie. Polls show a surprisingly large number of Democrats open to Trump. In one January survey by the polling form Mercury Analytics , almost 20 percent said they’d consider crossing over to him from Hillary. Even if that’s double the actual number, it’s still stunning. Could Ted Cruz expect to draw that many Democrats? Could Jeb?
It’s an article of faith in Washington that Trump would tank the party’s prospects with minority voters. Sounds logical, especially if you’re a sensitive white liberal who considers the suggestion of a border wall a form of hate speech, but consider the baseline. In the last election, Romney got 6 percent of the black vote, and 27 percent of Hispanics. Trump, who’s energetic, witty and successful, will do worse? I wouldn’t bet on it. ...

James Kirkpatrick - VDare: GUARDIAN Closes Comments Section On Immigration; Expresses Loathing Of Readers - "Rumors are already swirling that Twitter is preparing a massive purge of #AltRight and conservative accounts in order to turn its service into a giant liberal hugbox."

2015 was a breakthrough year for immigration patriots, both conservatives and what is sometimes called the #AltRight. As expected, 2016 is going to be a year of repression as the Left moves to simply prohibit discussion of the problems it has created.
It will start with the comment sections. The Guardian is moving to flat out prohibit comments on important issues, especially those that have to do with immigration. ...

Which is funnier? One, that reader comments might disturb the delicate sensibilities of reporters? Or, two, that in referring to the "consternation and concern" of the Guardian's "readers," the Guardian is, by definition, deciding that anyone arguing against the Establishment's open-borders migration policies is not one of their readers? Since it is highly doubtful that anyone in the throws of such painful concern and consternation at such critical comments will have written those comments or is someone who wholeheartedly agrees with them.

RR Watch - Marshalltown, Iowa, the town a foreign-owned company changed forever - Another American town taken over by our Occupation Government. --tma

This is one more in a long sad line of American towns and cities changed forever due to the needs of greedy global corporations (not just meatpackers!) and their appetite for cheap immigrant labor.  They get the cheap labor, we get thepoverty and extra welfare expenses, not to mention the cultural upheaval!
Trump and Arpaio 2
Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio endorsed Trump in Marshalltown last week. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2016/01/26/arizona-sheriff-joe-arpaio-endorses-trump/
Marshalltown, of course, is in the news because all eyes are on Iowa today.
Be sure to see an earlier post on how JBS Swift (a Brazilian owned company) is destroying the American middle class in Marshalltown.
And, don’t miss my post of only a couple of weeks ago about foreign-owned companies like JBS Swift changing America by changing the people.

“Taking food out of our [American] mouths!”

From Philly.com thanks to a reader:
The blue-collar city, which has shed manufacturing jobs, epitomizes the economic squeeze of the American middle class. And Marshalltown has grappled for years with immigration, the issue that fires up conservative GOP base voters almost as much as terrorism.
Today, about a quarter of Marshalltown’s population of 28,000 is Latino. By contrast, Hispanics make up about 6 percent of Iowa’s population. A number of Burmese and Sudanese immigrants also have settled here.
Job cuts
In the 1980s the meatpacking industry mechanized production, boosting output and slashing wages. Meat processors already faced a labor shortage as the U.S. rural population shrank and fewer Americans wanted the repetitive, dangerous jobs, the industry says. Packers turned to Mexico and the rest of Latin America for workers.  [B.S. they could have paid a decent salary and kept American workers!—ed]
“It’s like they’ve got a sign on the border, ‘Come to Marshalltown,’ ” said Mike Foreman, 66, who worked at the meatpacking plant until 2000, when a back injury forced him to retire.

“The company paid them less than they paid us,” he said last week at the city’s senior citizens center. “The way I look at it, they’re taking food out of our mouths.”

American Resistance - Wyoming: Expose, Hound & Defeat Pro-Muslim Invasion GOP Gov Mead & Cheney Family

Liz Cheney is running for Congress in WY, great opportunity for grassroots organizing
Liz and Dick

Liz Cheney and daddy Dick: Keeping the dynasty alive?
Readers of my other blog, Refugee Resettlement Watch, know that Wyoming is the only state in the nation that has never had a UN/US State Department Refugee Admissions program.
In the fall of 2013, the Republican governor, Matt Mead, invited the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement (in HHS) to set up a program in Wyoming. See his letter to ORR here.  (Would he have pursued this avenue if the Cheney dynasty disapproved? I doubt it.)
Don’t ask me why a Republican governor would invite needy third world refugees to the state, many from Muslim countries that hate us, but he did.  See many posts at RRW, by clicking here.  See especially, Mead calls me out, here.
His efforts have been thwarted so far by strong grassroots opposition.

Liz Cheney running for Wyoming’s lone seat in US House of Representatives.

For those grassroots patriots this is your big chance to make your concerns known.  Liz Cheney worked in the US State Department and her father, former Bush VP Dick Cheney, has already signaled his welcome to Muslim refugees when he blasted Donald Trump for “anti-Muslim” views, here in December.
Find out when registration closes and find someone concerned about refugees and mass immigration generally to run against Cheney in the primary in order to make the issue a driving political issue this year.  ***Update*** Filing deadline is in May, see here.

Hound Liz Cheney day and night on the issue of immigration!

If no one runs against her, Wyomingites must all hound her at every campaign stop from now until Election Day!  Make sure the media in Wyoming (and around the US) knows how important the issue of Refugee Resettlement and mass migration is to you, and by doing so, you will help all Americans because Cheney will be attracting national news coverage.
And, one last thing, find out who is donating to her campaign—any big corporations looking for cheap immigrant labor? If so, expose them! ...
