Democrats called it the Trump shutdown. Republicans labeled it the Schumer shutdown. But in reality, it was the Dreamer shutdown.
The recipe for the current congressional gridlock is complex, but at the top of the list of ingredients are the illegal immigrant Dreamers who pushed Democrats to launch the filibuster that sent the government careening into a partial shutdown.

What is "stunning" is the naivete of this article, as if all this were somehow an up-welling grassroots movements, like the Tea Parties. Globalists leading both parties have been pushing for countless amnesties for decades. Even Bush 2 tried to push one through, although he must have known he would be bringing in Democrat voters.
This is a combination of Globalists, made up of Multi-Marxists, predatory capitalist donors and, yes, the massively wealthy and influential Tribe, with their astronomical funding of campaigns, lobbyists, immigration attorneys, 'hate' watchers and the near total ownership of the MSM and Hollywood.
Like the fingers of water pressure feeling for the weak points in a dam, the Dreamers were the perfect next step. No matter how old many of them may now be, no matter if they include rapists and killers--they can be presented as valedictorian 'kids' to whom WE MUST NOT SAY 'NO'! For their part, the third world knows by now accusations of 'racism' are Kryptonite to ethnic Europeans everywhere.
