The Ukraine: A Third Way?

Evolutionary psychologist and commentator Kevin MacDonald has said that the Ukraine is a "textbook case of the cost of multiculturalism," which is what the open-borders overlords of every Western nation should keep in mind. If today's Ukrainians have such a low level of unity in their different regions, how will future, for example, English, French or Swedish ethnic groups get along with their North African Muslim migrants, and offspring, once such people get really organized?

Of course this insight doesn't help today's Ukrainians, but why must the average Ukrainian be forced to choose between joining either the increasingly decadent and dysfunctional West or be absorbed into a reconstituted Russian Empire? Let Ukrainians be completely independent, have secure borders and have friendly relations with both Eastern and Western nations.

The Ukrainian people have suffered enough throughout history. Now let's have a friendly competition. Who among us can be the best friends of the Ukrainians by treating them with the honor that they have long deserved. Instead of being a source of conflict between the East and the West, the Ukraine can be an energetic, creative and prosperous meeting place between Eastern and Western nations. In fact, if the Ukraine is not forced to join either side, it could be the beginning of a new much deserved golden age for the Ukrainians--and that will benefit us all.
