While it’s true that Jindal was at one time a Hindu, the conservative Catholic, having been born in the U.S., has always been an American citizen. And that’s pretty good, so far as Jindal’s presidential ambitions are concerned; the Constitution mandates that only a “natural-born citizen” can be president of the United States.
