Yahoo: The former Florida governor’s openness is throwing potential 2016 presidential opponents off balance

He hasn’t formally declared his candidacy for the GOP presidential nomination or rolled out a policy agenda, but the former Florida governor is already setting a tone that’s distinguishing him from the rest of his likely opponents.
Dating back to his time in the statehouse, Bush has a track record of robust engagement with regular citizens and the press over email. He’s continued that since re-emerging on the political scene, emailing national political reporters directly himself — an almost unheard-of move in conservative circles more likely to bash the New York Times than engage with it. In his media appearances so far, he’s appeared to prefer question-and-answer sessions to the speeches that precede them.
