Former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) on Monday went after President Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement, biking to the French capital's city hall to discuss the issue with the mayor.
Photos and videos posted online show Schwarzenegger waving and grinning as he rides on a green bike, wearing a green tie.
The action movie star spoke at an event focused on climate change that was hosted by R20, a nonprofit he co-founded.
“It doesn’t matter that Donald Trump backed out of the Paris agreement, because the private sector didn’t drop out, the public sector didn’t drop out, the universities didn’t drop out, the scientists didn’t drop out, the engineers didn’t drop out. … No one else dropped out,” Schwarzenegger said, according to the Los Angeles Times. ...
