Nina Davuluri: The Myth America Pageant (once again the American media and other hostile ruling elites desperately attempt to miss-characterize Americans as 'haters')

The Myth America Pageant

The Myth America Pageant

Last week, America was allegedly aghast over the first Indian Miss America. TIME said the pageant had become “Marred by Racist Slurs.” Huffington Post described a “flurry of indignation” and CNN said she was “attacked.” MSNBC said viewers “lashed out” at the winner for “her ethnicity.”
So what was all this hateful bile America was spewing? What was so repugnant it made Stephen Colbert “totally lose it”? Once again, the answer is: nothing. Without exception, the outrage was related to Tweets. That’s right. Twitter. The place in cyberland where adolescents tell their 13 followers how tired they are and say, “Fuck you faggot” to their friend who refuses to root for Green Bay. You know you’re desperate to find a villain when you have to mine the flippant comments of 500 million users to locate examples. Wow, a teenager named Dallas thinks Indians are Arabs. Oh no, a fat kid named Colton thinks the Miss America contestant did “Egypt dancing.” You know what else teenagers say? “This apartment isn’t zombie-proof.” . . .

As I have said before, one of the strangest aspects of the 9-11 attacks was the news media's reaction. As would be expected, the headline story was about the attacks themselves, but running a close second was the theme devoted to how we were all supposed to be waiting for some horrific backlash by average (white male) American citizens, as if Christian straight white men were going to be surging through Muslim neighborhoods, ax handles in hand, dishing out revenge.

The revenge attacks I can recall--in the United States, which spans an entire continent, the of the heaviest populated nations on earth--could have been counted on the fingers of one hand. For example, I recall a Pakistani, I believe, attacked at his convenience store, by a black man. In fact most of these angry horrendous 'racist backlash' news stories were devoted to a handful of angry emails, yes, you heard right, emails that various Islamic entities received. I mean, let's face it, in America you can get an angry email for being in favor of water fluoridation or the metric system, but such arguments go on in all nations.

Contrast that to what would have happened if a devout band of white Christian men had used airliners full of Muslims to incinerate two high rises full of Muslims and crashing a third airliner into a defense headquarters, while smashing a fourth airliner out in a field, all of it taking place within an Muslim nation. Surely the reaction of Muslims would have made the reaction of average Americans to the 9-11 attacks seem almost otherworldly saintly. Hence the American media's feverish attempts to twist truth into a pretzel to prove 'hate,' 'intolerance,' and 'xenophobia.'

However, one thing can be said in favor of the people within the West who are trying to destroy Western civilization: they constantly adapt to new situations and new technologies--and they never ever rest. Also most of them are not Muslim.
