Sea level rise: Climate change and an ocean of natural variability
Steve Goreham
CHICAGO, September 19, 2013 — Sea level rise is the greatest disaster predicted by Climatism, the belief in catastrophic climate change. Today, leading scientific organizations support the idea that the ocean level is rising due to man-made emissions. Further, they claim to be able to measure ocean level to a high degree of accuracy. But a look at natural ocean variation shows that official sea level measurements are nonsense. . .

Ice core and stalagmite evidence show climate changes at RATES unprecedented for hundreds of thousands of years. Almost all reputable climatologists, geologists, etc, those who publish in peer-reviewed journals, are involved in a gigantic worldwide man-made climate change conspiratorial hoax? Possible, but doubtful.
Not that scientists don't make mistakes, but it is usually to refuse to let go of an earlier established view. For example, when evidence was pouring in, the scientific establishment did not want to accept the theory of continental drift. Or there is just turning a blind eye, such as so many PC scientist who refuse to talk about mass migration to the West as a major contribution to overpopulation (on this topic, Al Gore's favorite kind of scientist). Or the IQ differences among different races, which is treated in the media as some crackpot racist theory, but has been known by IQ measurement science since the 1920s and confirmed by study after study ever since. Or the growing evidence that European-derived migrations to North America preceded those of 'Native Americans' to North America--very, very embarrassing to Multicultural Marxist academia.
Anyway, if rapid man-made climate change is mistaken, the idea will eventually fall by the wayside through science itself, but these sorts of journalistic articles seem to just nibble around the edges of the evidence. Yes, obviously, measuring the ocean levels is very tough. Most people already know that. Apparently the writer has an MS in electrical engineering and an MBA. Fine degrees, but he directs the Climate Science Coalition of America? Hmm.

One fact that creates skepticism about all these anti-man-made-climate-change opeds is that ocean-raising levels of rivers of funds are being poured into the anti-climate change debate by corporations because they understandably fear man-made climate change will mean more regulations and more impediments to gro-gro-gro capitalism. Even if true, corporations want the public costs, as with open borders and amnesties, to be left for taxpayers far into the future after the profits of irresponsibility have been merrily raked in.
Your statement "evidence show climate changes at RATES unprecedented for hundreds of thousands of years" is not correct. Bountiful geologic data shows that both the rate of past temperature changes and the magnitude of temperatures were higher than the late 20th century. Go to the website CO2science to find hundreds of peer-reviewed papers on this topic.
