CORNYN: OBAMA 'DEFIANT' WHEN GOP LEADERS CONFRONTED HIM ON EXECUTIVE AMNESTY
Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), the incoming majority whip in the 114th Congress, described “person after person” aggressively confronting the president about his plans to issue a unilateral amnesty for millions of illegal aliens at a closed-door lunch Friday.
But President Obama was unbowed, even after an electoral shellacking last week, Cornyn said.
“He was pretty defiant. He was pretty defiant,” Cornyn said. “For the president to poison the well at the very outset is really unimaginable.” ...
