  • Fights started outside French town halls tonight as they came under the control of the far-right National Front for the first time following dramatic gains in local elections.

Exit polls suggested that the anti-immigration and anti-Europe party had roundly beaten the governing Socialists in a number of key constituencies.

'Demonstrators are trying to get at the Front representatives and starting fights,' said a police spokesman in Frejus, the picturesque Mediterranean town which is hugely popular with British tourists. . . .

'UN panel: Warming worsens food, hunger problems' - Whatever your view on man-made climate change, it certainly doesn't help that the world's population so far this year has gone up by about 20 million (worldometers, real time world statistics). In the past several years the open-borders cheap-labor guys and their globalist allies on the Left have been trying to convince you that overpopulation is passe.

UN panel: Warming worsens food, hunger problems

YOKOHAMA, Japan (AP) — Global warming makes feeding the world harder and more expensive, a United Nations scientific panel said.
A warmer world will push food prices higher, trigger "hotspots of hunger" among the world's poorest people, and put the crunch on Western delights like fine wine and robust coffee, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change concluded in a 32-volume report issued Monday.
"We're facing the specter of reduced yields in some of the key crops that feed humanity," panel chairman Rajendra Pachauri said in press conference releasing the report.
Even though heat and carbon dioxide are often considered good for plants, the overall effect of various aspects of man-made warming is that it will reduce food production compared to a world without global warming, the report said. , , ,

LOUISVILLE, Ky: Woman attacked by mob of teens says she was scared for her life - 'There needs to be better guidance for these kids around here,' Loeffler told WDRB. ('better guidance'--Should sane race realists laugh or cry at this point?)

Woman attacked by mob of teens says she was scared for her life

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A woman punched in the face by a teenage boy during a string of assaults and robberies in downtown Louisville tells WDRB she was scared for her life and the lives of her children.
Viola Loeffler and her boyfriend were nearing a stoplight downtown Saturday night when all of a sudden, they say a mob of teenagers surrounded their car.
The scariest part? They had five children with them.
"This is like something out of a movie. I've never seen anything like this before," said Loeffler.
It was around 8 p.m. Saturday when Viola Loeffler says she and her family were attacked at the intersection at First and Liberty.
"Right before we got to the stoplight, we noticed about 50 to 100 teens coming to the middle of the street. It was a one-way street so we couldn't go any further. All of a sudden, one of them throws a garbage can on our car," said Loeffler.
Loeffler says after that, the situation quickly escalated.
Her boyfriend, Ron Carter, was in the driver's seat and stopped the car to see what was going on.
They say when he got out, the teens moved in on him.
"All of a sudden, I'm getting attacked," Carter told WDRB.
Meanwhile, Loeffler and her five children were still inside the car.
"At that point , I jump in the driver's seat. I hear them throwing rocks at my car. The rocks were hitting the kids inside of the car," said Loeffler.
"Survival mode, and I tried to analyze the situation as quick as possible and figure out the safest way to get everyone safe," said Carter.
Loeffler says she couldn't speed away because they were surrounded by the group of teens and she didn't want to run them over.
That's when she says one of them attacked her. . . .

Is Sheldon Adelson the one man any Republican presidential hopeful must woo?

If Democrats are "Ready for Hillary" in 2016 – as the Democratic "super political action committee" suggests – then perhaps Republicans are "Itching for Adelson."

As the FiveThirtyEight noted last week, the Republican presidential field hasn't been this muddled at this admittedly early point in the race in 40 years. So while Democrats are trying to decide what color tiara to get for Mrs. Clinton, Republicans haven't even decided who's in the game yet.

And that's where Sheldon Adelson comes in. Mr. Adelson, a casino magnate and (according to Forbes) the eighth richest man in the world, hosted four potential 2016 Republican presidential candidates at his Venetian casino in Las Vegasthis weekend. It was ostensibly a meeting of the Republican Jewish Coalition, and while scores of potential donors were present, the event was informally known as the "Sheldon Adelson primary."

"Adelsons . . . believe will have broad appeal to an increasingly diverse national electorate . . .  Adelson's millions will not be going to someone who advises stepping back America's military involvement"

OOPS! - Spokane Valley, Wash -- Deputies: Owner sprayed “Go back to China” at her own coffee shop (Ironically this pandemic of fake hate crimes are not really fake, even if they involve things like insurance fraud, they constitute hate crimes aimed primarily at heterosexual Christian White men, who have been set up as fall guys for decades--and someday will have had enough.)

                             Another exposed fake hate crime

Deputies: Owner sprayed “Go back to China” at her own coffee shop

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -- Authorities said the owner of a coffee stand who claimed someone spray-painted "Go back to China" outside her business and set part of her shop on fire carried out the crime herself.

The Spokane County Sheriff's Office had originally investigated the incident as a hate crime and arson on January 21. Deputies, however, arrested Coffee Break owner Jennifer Na on Friday.
Investigators said surveillance video showed Na with a gas can in hand.  She was reportedly also seen reaching up to unplug her surveillance cameras before the crime occurred. On Wednesday, investigators told Na about the video.  . . .

Biden: ‘11 Million Undocumented Aliens Are Already Americans in My View’

(CNSNews.com) – Vice President Joe Biden, in a speech to the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s 2014 Legislative Summit, on Thursday said the 11 million illegal aliens in the United States “are already Americans.”

“Eleven million people living in the shadows I believed are already American citizens,” Biden said. “These people are just waiting, waiting for a chance to be able to contribute fully, and by that standard, 11 million undocumented aliens are already Americans in my view.” . . .

Diana West: A nation's attempt to survive isn't 'racism' - "Is it “racism” to oppose the demographic obliteration of a nation clearly under way?"

    A nation's attempt to survive isn't 'racism'
It may surprise some Americans to learn that almost one-quarter of the people living in Switzerland are foreigners. Even so, just over 50 percent voted last month to cap immigration, which, unchecked, could leave indigenous Swiss a minority in 50 years. Newsweek’s headline over the story was typical: “Switzerland’s Sudden Fear of Immigrants.”
Fear. Immigrants. The German publication Spiegel Online wrote also about “scaremongering.” The enlightened reader’s thought-bubble is now supposed to register the word “racism.” But was it really “fear of immigrants” – read: “racism” – that drove sufficient numbers of Swiss to the polls to check their own demographic extinction as a recognizable culture and nation-state? Or was it a nearly anachronistic instinct to survive as a recognizable culture and nation-state? . . .

Patrick J. Buchanan: The Return Of Ethnic Nationalism— Is Europe Cracking Up? - "Across Europe, there is a fear that the ethnic character of their countries and continent are being altered forever against the will of the people."

The Return Of Ethnic Nationalism— Is Europe Cracking Up?

A week ago, in the St. George's Hall in the Kremlin, Russia's elite cheered and wept as Vladimir Putin announced the re-annexation of Crimea. Seven in 10 Russians approve of Putin's rule.
In Crimea, the Russian majority has not ceased celebrating. The re-conquest nears completion. In Eastern Ukraine, Russians have now begun to agitate for annexation by Moscow.
Ukrainian nationalism, manifest in the anti-Russia coup in Kiev, has produced its inevitable reaction among Russians.
While praising the Ukrainians who came out to Maidan to protest peacefully, Putin said that those behind the decisive events"resorted to terror, murder and riots. Nationalists, neo-Nazis, Russophobes and anti-Semites executed this coup." The Kremlin erupted in cheers.
But not only in Ukraine is ethnic nationalism surging.
"National Front Vote Stuns Hollande" was the headline on the Financial Times' story about France's municipal elections Sunday. . . .

Senator Jeff Sessions - CRITICAL ALERT: DHS Enforcement Data Reveals Administrative Amnesty Much Broader Than Previously Understood

CRITICAL ALERT: DHS Enforcement Data Reveals  Administrative Amnesty Much Broader Than Previously  Understood

Even Future Illegal Immigrants And Visa Overstays Are Exempt From Enforcement

Much of the attention on the Obama Administration’s suspension of immigration law has cited the Administration’s decision to provide executive amnesty and work permits for illegal immigrants covered by the DREAM Act proposal that Congress repeatedly rejected. Less attention was given to the August 23, 2013 Department of Homeland Security (DHS) directive expanding that amnesty to illegal immigrant relatives of DREAM Act beneficiaries. So too was less notice given to the December 21, 2012 DHS directive reinforcing that almost all immigration offenses were unenforceable absent a separate criminal conviction.1

Now, a review of Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) published enforcement statistics for 2013 reveals a shocking truth: DHS has blocked the enforcement of immigration law for the overwhelming majority of violations—and is planning to widen that amnesty even further.

Here are the sober facts. . . .

Staffer, conflict-resolution specialist, knocked unconscious at Philadelphia's Bartram High - 'And when you don't have a lot of support personnel,' he said, 'you're asking for a lot of disorder.' Yeah, I'm sure that's it.

Staffer knocked unconscious at Bartram High

A staffer assigned to quell violence at a Philadelphia high school was knocked unconscious in what one union official called the worst assault since a Germantown High School teacher's neck was broken in 2007 by a student.
Alphonso Stevens, known as a conflict-resolution specialist, suffered a fractured skull, concussion, and other injuries.
The incident happened Friday when students were changing classes at Bartram High School. A 17-year-old student got into a verbal exchange with Stevens then grabbed him by the arm "and pushed him into the wall," said Raven Hill, a district spokeswoman.
Stevens fell to the floor, unconscious. He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for treatment and is now recovering at home.
Jerry Jordan, president of the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers, said the attack on Stevens was "the worst injury" he has seen since a student punched Frank Burd in the face several times in 2007, causing him to fall and break his neck. . . .
