Defeat the Amnesty Gang of Ocho at the Next Election!

The utter insanity of the Gang of Ocho’s amnesty plan in just one sentence

National Review‘s Katrino Trinko has been handed some talking points by the Gang of Ocho on their impending amnesty plan. Please do go read the whole thing. Just as Obamacare twisted itself in knots trying to make a big government takeover of
health care appear to be market-based reforms, the Gang of Ocho spins fanciful tales of hard-nosed enforcement to paper over its amnesty core.
Here is just one example:
Anyone who is no longer able to be self-sufficient and needs federal assistance would lose legal status and be eligible for deportation.
So the Gang of Ocho wants us to believe that while Americans currently do not have the political will to deport illegal immigrants now, after immigration reform passes, suddenly the federal government will spring into action and begin hunting down unemployed or disabled legalized immigrants for deportation. It’s a monstrous idea. And it will never happen.
The reality is that once the Gang of Ocho grants illegal immigrants a path to citizenship, none of them will ever be deported and all of them will eventually become eligible for the full range of federal and state welfare programs. It will be a huge drain on government budgets.
Illegal immigrants do not come to this country for welfare. They come to American for jobs. But once they are here, they do avail themselves of the welfare state. And because they are less educated, and are less likely to speak English than the native population, they will use more welfare than native Americans too.
No amount of tough Gang of Ocho talking points will change that.

Burke, Buckley, Russell Kirk or Captain Kirk?

Burke Not Buckley
The case for community-centric conservatism
By CARL T. BOGUS • April 9, 2013

Conservatives are engaged in deep introspection these days. As they reconsider their direction, they would do well to look back to the formative period of their movement. They may find something there of great value—something many conservatives think their movement embraced, but in truth rejected.
By 1952, liberal candidates had not only captured the last five Democratic presidential nominations but the past five Republican nominations as well. Most observers considered conservatism dead—a philosophy unsuited for modern times. A small number of intellectuals disagreed. They believed that—if redefined—conservatism might be resuscitated. But they passionately disagreed about how it should be redefined.
One group wanted to follow the teachings of the great 18th-century English statesman Edmund Burke. Russell Kirk was the most prominent of this group. In 1953, Kirk—a young assistant professor of history at Michigan State—turned his doctoral dissertation into a book. “Burke’s is the true school of conservative principle,” Kirk argued, and he described Burke’s philosophy so appealingly that Kirk’s book, The Conservative Mind, became wildly successful. Other Burkeans included Clinton Rossiter, a political scientist at Cornell; Robert Nisbet, a sociologist at Berkeley; and Peter Viereck, an historian at Mount Holyoke College. These men, though academics, were gifted writers, and each produced a popular book advocating the Burkean way. ...
Will conservative Mexicans, Chinese, Indians, Filipinos, Vietnamese, Salvadorans, Cubans, South Koreans, Dominicans, Guatemalans choose Burke or Buckley?
These being are our top ten incoming populations. As important as the questions of what is conservatism and which direction should it take may be, it all becomes something of a surreal parlor game without recognizing that Western civilization is quickly sinking and that Westerners are being rapidly replaced, which means the sinking at some point becomes irreversible.
Not that I don't admire the learning on display and the many fine points made. Maybe someday Chinese, Japanese or perhaps Arab scholars can unearth such debates and puzzle over them. I can imagine one scholar looking at another with furrowed brow: "Kirk? Captain?"

Why was Margaret Thatcher so hated by the Left?

Baroness Thatcher, Requiescat in Pace

Steve Sailer - Taki's Magazine - 4/10/2012

Baroness Thatcher, Requiescat in Pace

In 1999, I was interrogated on suspicion of being an Irish Republican Army terrorist plotting to assassinate Baroness Margaret Thatcher with a letter bomb.

I was startled by a phone call from the police chief of the Maryland town where the former prime minister was going to attend a conference that weekend. He said, “The bomb squad’s robot just about to throw this heavy package addressed to you at the hotel into the Chesapeake, but then I figured I’d give you a call to find out if you can explain what it is. ..."

Then as now, of all the groups that the loving Tolerance Police hate the most, successful conservative female politicians are very high on the list. Like conservative black Supreme Court justices, they are considered an abomination to nature. It would be sort of fun to see elected to the presidency of the US a black lesbian single mom, like the ones you see in movies, who are really smart, brave, tough, cute, funny, sassy, articulate and best-friend, maybe with dreadlocks, who is also a radical traditionalist favoring the creation of a white ethnostate--just to watch liberals' heads self-implode. It would be such a shocker to the pious self-satisfied PC liberal hive, on a nonviolent intellectual level, sort of like the Aliens discovering Ripley striding confidently through their queen's inner-sanctum egg chamber with her trusty flamethrower.

Morris Dees 'King of Fearmongers'?

King of Fearmongers

Morris Dees and the Southern Poverty Law Center, scaring donors since 1971

APR 15, 2013, VOL. 18, NO. 29 • BY CHARLOTTE ALLEN

Morris Dees

Last August a 28-year-old gay-rights volunteer named Floyd Corkins entered the office lobby of the Family Research Council (FRC), a Christian traditional-values group headquartered in Washington that condemns homosexual conduct and opposes same-sex marriage. Corkins took a gun from his backpack and fired three shots at building manager Leo Johnson, one of them wounding the unarmed Johnson in the arm before he wrested the gun from Corkins. On February 6 Corkins pleaded guilty to three felonies: committing an act of terrorism while armed, interstate transportation of a firearm and ammunition (he had bought the weapon in Virginia), and assault with intent to kill while armed. He faces a sentencing hearing on April 29 that could include up to 70 years in prison. According to federal prosecutors’ statements in court documents, Corkins told investigators that he had intended to kill Johnson and numerous other FRC employees. His backpack contained 15 sandwiches from the fast-food chain Chick-fil-A, whose founder, S. Truett Cathy, contributed through his family foundation to several organizations opposed to gay marriage, including the FRC. According to prosecutors, Corkins said he had planned to smear the faces of the dead FRC employees with the sandwiches once his shooting spree ended. ...

What Are the Tufa Towers of Mono Lake–and What Is Mono’s Lesson?

Google Images

If you have ever seen the film ‘Chinatown,’ you are aware of the fictionalized destruction of an entire agricultural valley, and lake, to get hold of enough water so that Los Angeles could become a world-class city. Just as Upper State New York has a large undeveloped area to serve as New York City’s water catch-basin to supply such a large number of people, LA, in a much dryer climate, also needed umpteen tons of fresh water. What is the larger lesson?

A very important lesson is one that people often forget: when it comes to populations of humans, no matter how people might be crowded together or stacked on top of each other in high-rises, as in Manhattan, especially in higher standard of living nations, at least several acres of land are necessary to support each individual. This includes everything from water collection to highways and airports to crops and on and on.

So we should remember all this when we are told by our hostile ruling elites that ‘America still has plenty of room’ to take in the rest of the world’s teeming ever-doubling masses. After all, a person would have to be fairly unhinged not to recognize China or India as being overpopulated, and yet both still possess great stretches of seemingly empty land. There are unavoidable ecological reasons why such areas are sparsely populated.

Mono Lake
Wikipedia

Mono Lake (/ˈmn/ moh-noh) is a large, shallow saline soda lake in Mono CountyCalifornia, formed at least 760,000 years ago as aterminal lake in a basin that has no outlet to the ocean. The lack of an outlet causes high levels of salts to accumulate in the lake. These salts also make the lake water alkaline.
This desert lake has an unusually productive ecosystem based on brine shrimp that thrive in its waters, and provides critical nesting habitat for two million annual migratory birds that feed on the shrimp.[2][3]
The human history of Mono Lake is associated with its productive ecosystem. The native Kutzadika'a people derived nutrition from the larvae of the alkali flies that live in the lake. When the city of Los Angeles diverted water from flowing into the lake, it lowered the lake level, which imperiled the migratory birds. The Mono Lake Committee formed in response, winning a legal battle that forced Los Angeles to partially restore the lake level. ...

Jacksonville Florida More Black Teens Attack Whites--and get away with it

Good Samaritan helps man beaten by teenagers

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Good Samaritan speaks out about how she and her fiancé helped a man being beaten by teenagers on the Northside.

A witness, who does not want to reveal her identity for fear of her safety, says Friday night she was driving down Soutel Drive near Lem Turner Road with her fiancé and saw a group of teenagers beating a man.

"We seen a whole bunch of African-American kids you know, beating and stomping on an elderly Caucasian guy and he had bags and everything, he couldn't even defend himself because it was so many kids," said the anonymous witness.

The witness says she immediately dialed 911 and turned around to go help the man.

"Between 10 or 15 kids it could have been more because they just scattered like ants when we came back around," said the witness.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office report identified the victim as 56-year-old Peter Richard Lockhart. He was transported to Shands for abrasions on his left wrist and face. The witness says Lockhart told her that he had just gotten off the city bus and was going home with his groceries.

The victim told police that he was approached from behind and was beaten with a stick, the witness says at one point he was just laying flat on the ground and almost looked like he had crawled out to the road where people could see him. ...

Loving Tolerance Police Terrorize AmRen Montgomery Bell State Park

Protests against white separatism group planned at park

Tennessean

Two groups plan to protest an organization known for its white separatism and supremacist policies at Montgomery Bell State Park Friday and Saturday.

The annual conference for American Renaissance, which also goes by AmRen and labels its views as “race realism,” will be at the park’s conference center for the second straight year.

One protest group, the Coalition to Shut Down AmRen, in association with Austin Peay Students for a Democratic Society, plans a protest for Friday and Saturday outside the conference center. ...

Love that last sentence above. In our upside-down Orwellian world, the Shut Down Coalition and the Democratic Society are the very picture of today's openness, tolerance and democracy.

What the article does not mention is that in the previous two successful shutdowns of AmRen conferences, the hotels finally backed out of their paid conference reservation contracts because they were getting hammered by anonymous death threats against their staff.

The rest of us would get stopped and searched for mistakenly carrying a nail file into an airport terminal, but Attorney General Holder--the one who intones that Americans are “cowards” for not wanting to discuss race--and other authorities seem strangely uninterested in this form of terrorism.

In the past, when AmRen conferences did take place, there would be maybe a dozen scraggly protesters down on the sidewalk, shouting and holding up their name-calling signs. The scary thing is that these people making threats and trying to shout down people into frightened silence, these professional anti-‘haters,’ are merely the more obvious and visibly ugly face of the hostile pro open-borders/invasion affirmative-action/anti-white discrimination elites under whose rule we dwell.

So maybe we should be a little grateful when the mask slips out of place from time to time, lest we forget whom and what we are dealing with. It is likely that more and more European Americans will awaken, particularly as the demographic tsunami continues and whites will not have the luxury of yammering all the required politically correct catchphrases while at the same time still living in neat clean green quiet low-crime almost all-white neighborhoods. This will become a luxury reserved only for wealthy whites, as the rest of us get inexorably thrown mercilessly into the wood-chipper god of ‘Celebrate diversity!’
