OH CANADA!
Hockey Night in Haiti

Don Cherry
Those stopped clocks who run Canada’s state broadcaster aren't even right twice a day. The best they can manage is once a week.
The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) says taxpayers must keep funding this great unwatched billion-dollar behemoth because the network has a never-hear-the-end-of-it “mandate” to “reflect Canadian values.”
Which “the Corpse” does indeed, but for just about nine minutes every Saturday night, and only during hockey season, and by accident rather than design.
That’s when Don Cherry’s red light goes on and the former Boston Bruins coach begins bellowing about the fruitcakes and foreigners destroying his beloved game. ...
Phttp://takimag.com/article/hockey_night_in_haiti_kathy_shaidle/print#ixzz2I6oDZJnTDon Cherry is a gutsy guy. On the other hand, it is a bit sad that we are reduced to this, since American and Canadian pro Western-civilization forces are championed by pretty much zero serious nationally recognized leaders.
My guess is that the Tolerance Police are waiting until Cherry steps just a tad farther across the line. Then, after he is purged from the airwaves, they will say something like, 'This decision was a long time in coming,' which will make it seem somehow more reasonable and routine and less Stalinist.
