American Resistance: Are you willing to gamble on Marco Rubio telling the truth this time? - With Gang of Eight, few understand how "fully Rubio betrayed Florida voters."

Ann Corcoran

As Marco Rubio becomes the golden boy for Fox News and I dare say, even Rush Limbaugh, it is incumbent on all of you to go back to his run for the Senate seat in Florida.  He promised voters he would secure the borders and then he promptly went to work on the Gang of Eight legislation that was arguably worse for America than Obamacare (and it would not have secured the border first!).

Norquist and Rubio
In 2010, out-of-the-closet Open Borders advocate Grover Norquist endorsed Rubio for his Senate seat. That should have been all the tip-off we needed to know that Rubio was going to be a traitor to his voters when he got to Washington.

I followed the Gang of Eight*** bill as it worked its way through the Senate because besides designing a path to citizenship for illegal aliens, it would have granted millions of more tax dollars to the nine major refugee resettlement contractors bringing refugees to your towns.
The nine including the Catholic Bishops, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service and the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society had a huge lobbying presence on the Hill in support of ‘comprehensive immigration reform.’
Their job of hooking refugees up with their social services (aka welfare) would have expanded to helping the newly amnestied get their taxpayer-funded services as well!

I was also shocked to learn that Rubio’s staff was working closely with Islamic apologist Grover Norquist.

Comrades-in-Arms!

I had to do some digging to find this 2013 story I had reported on then. Gee, did National Review dump Betsy Woodruff too?
From National Review (‘Grover vs. “the bitter-enders”‘).  If you have concerns about mass migration, you are, according to Grover Norquist a “bitter-ender.”  This information has been stuck in the back of my mind for years:
ATR and Norquist are also in the loop on Gang of Eight talks. They get inside information on the status of the discussions, and they pass that information along to conservative leaders. They don’t directly shape the Senate negotiations, but they work to influence Republican messaging.
They’re trying to give Senator Marco Rubio’s office a little relief, at least in the public square and within the movement. Rubio’s staffers have run the conservative Republican pro-reform push almost singlehandedly in Congress, says a source close to ATR’s work, who argues that Rubio has been instrumental in nudging his colleagues behind the scenes. Norquist and his aides say they are the Rubio office’s comrades-in-arms. They don’t directly coordinate with Rubio’s office, but they do try to help shoulder the burden of pushing a controversial policy to a skeptical audience.
To make a long story short!  Please read this December 2015 Townhall article by John Hawkins entitled ‘The Ugly Truth About Marco Rubio And His Gang-of-Eight Amnesty Bill’ (hat tip: Mark) to understand how fully Rubio betrayed his Florida voters.
For more on Grover Norquist, simply type ‘Grover Norquist Islamist’ into your google search bar.
I’ve written many many posts over the years on, not only his Islamist connections, but more importantly, on his use of Americans for Tax Reform(go figure!) to advance an Open Borders agenda clearly designed to help BIG business and the Chamber of Commerce get a ready supply of cheap labor. (LOL! But, I am just too lazy to link them all here!).
