New York Times columnist Ross Douthat caused outrage after he joked about how an assassination attempt could end Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

Showing how the Left twists everything, Douthat was referring to the Martin Sheen character in the film 'The Dead Zone,' and yet that character was a war mongering religious fanatic. Conversely, a big criticism of Trump is that he is not religious enough. Trump has also criticised our endless costly far-off regime-changing utopian wars.
