Come Jan. 2, 2013, 3,400 Border Patrol agents, 932 Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) special agents, and 802 ICE deportation and removal officers are going to lose their jobs. Unless President Obama forces Congress to break the gridlock on budget decisions, the layoffs are certain. The United States can not afford this reduction. Illegal alien crossings more than doubled in September over August in the Arizona border area where agent Brian Terry was killed with a gun from the botched “Fast and Furious” gun-walking operation almost two years ago." --Janice Kephart, Washington Times, 11/4/2012

There are no angel nations, including the United States. This means that a certain small percentage of citizens of any nation will be robbers, rapists, child molesters, murderers and other evildoers. With America's default long-running policy of semi open borders, we are, by definition, since these people are not being screened, welcoming in such evildoers. So it has to be that Democrats like Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, as well as amnesty-loving presidents like Obama, Clinton and Bush II, must at some level believe it is worth having innocent Americans raped, murdered and otherwise harmed to keep America's borders open.
