Sometimes forced school integration seems successful--at first. Because white kids still hold up academics and black kids are a boost to athletics. But as white families flee, primarily because their kids are getting attacked, black schools become increasingly Detroitized. Then they try to glom onto larger majority-white school districts, and on and on the scam goes. I was once a race liberal, until I awakened.
